Lessons From October: Personal Reflections and Growth

Ready to listen
This month, I’ve had the chance to reflect deeply on my journey, and here are three things I’ve learned about myself.
The Spiritual as a Primary Driver of the Physical
I’ve come to understand how much my spiritual life influences everything else. The spiritual realm seems to be the true source of energy and purpose, guiding the physical world. I’ve seen this in action through both open and closed doors in my life this month—evidence that when God is ready to act, nothing can prevent His work. Even if I’m not fully prepared or aware, divine timing cannot be hindered. This realisation has deepened my faith and reminded me to stay spiritually grounded.
The Power of Belief and Willpower
I’ve stretched myself this month, learning and achieving more than I initially thought possible. It’s been intense and challenging, but I am grateful for all that I’ve gained. I’ve learned that whatever the mind can conceive, it can also achieve. If I believe in something, I have the power to bring it into existence. My body, mind, spirit, and soul are all capable of growth, and it’s my willpower that drives this potential. With a strong will, I’m able to accomplish more than I ever imagined—and I believe this is true for everyone. We all have room to reach for more.
The Importance of Balance and Prioritisation
Discovering a new path where my passion can truly be expressed has been exciting. However, I’ve noticed that it has shifted my focus away from other ongoing activities. This month, I’ve learned the need to balance my responsibilities and set clear priorities. Whether it’s parenting, work, or personal projects, having a prioritized list is essential to manage everything efficiently. Additionally, I’ve realised the importance of rest; denying myself sleep does not serve my spirit. In November, I’m committed to prioritising rest and embracing a more balanced routine, especially as I take on new opportunities. I pray for the wisdom to manage my time and avoid excessive commitment.
Goals and Recap
1. Acknowledge Divine Power: The spiritual realm significantly influences the physical, and I aim to stay spiritually connected.
2. Believe in My Potential: With belief and willpower, I know I can achieve more.
3. Prioritise and Balance Life’s Activities: I will set priorities to manage my time effectively and find the right balance among all my roles.
This October has shown me that there is so much more within me to express, and I believe the same holds true for everyone. I hope my reflections have resonated with you, and perhaps inspired you to pursue your own growth and goals.
